The 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES Rookie of the Year, Danish driver Christian Lundgaard is returning for his third season with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. Previously in his career, Lundgaard was an Alpine junior racer who spent two seasons in the FIA Formula 2 Championship and claimed two wins and six podiums in 2020. He also won SMP and Spanish F4 championships and scored a win in F3. He is not the only member of the Lundgaard family in racing; his father, Henrik, was a European Rally champion, and his older brother, Daniel, was the Danish F4 champion.
